Senior Software DeveloperLocation: Bellevue, Washington
This person will be a key member of Estorian's product development team. As a senior member of our development team, this person will have a fundamental impact on the architecture of our Information Index, Archival and Powerful E-Discovery products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain quality software written in languages including Visual Basic 6, MS SQL
- Implement to functional specifications, exercising good judgment and flexibility
- Document work through informal reviews, design documents, code comments, and release notes
- Work as part of a team with Sr. Architect, other developers, QA , and Documentation
- Enhance Estorian's core competency in Email Archiving, Indexing and Retrieval
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 6+ years of development experienvce in Visual Basic 6
- 6+ years of development experience in MS SQL
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft network centric environment
- Good sense of architecture and how to achieve code reuse
- Good communication, product planning, and organization skills
- Ability to set goals and deliver on commitments
- Strong tendency to adhere to software development best practices
- Bachelors degree in computer science, related field or equivalent work experience
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience with Visual Studio .Net and conversion projects to .Net
- Experience with CDO, MAPI and MS Exchange internals
